Let me introduce myself.....
My name is Valeria and I am a self confessed 'doggie person'. My love affair with dogs started when I was six years old with a beautiful English Setter puppy. We fast became best friends and effectively grew up together. He was funny, kind and also very grumpy. When he crossed the Rainbow Bridge at the age of eleven my world shattered into tiny pieces. My parents quickly brought home Farik, a little round ball of fluff. He was so incredibly cute, but I just couldn't see how I could ever grow to love him as much as I did Nordik. I soon discovered however, that when it came to dogs my heart had infinite capacity for love. And so, with every addition my heart expanded and with every loss it broke.
As soon as I felt independent and responsible enough I got a fur baby of my own. Kacy, who is looking at you from the picture to the right, was a staffie/Labrador cross and was just perfect. She delighted us every day for twelve and a half years. Her passing two years ago still devastates us every day. We are however very lucky to still have Alfie, whom we found on the streets of Chichester six years ago. He is a gorgeous Lurcher, rolling around on the grass in the picture at the top of this page. Today you will mainly find him upside down on one of 'his' sofas. So that is me. After successfully walking doggies in Petworth, West Sussex, I have recently moved to Parkstone, Poole, where I happily live with Alfie and my husband Steve, also very much a 'doggy person'.
Update:
Sadly our gorgeous Alfie crossed the rainbow bridge in April 2019. We miss him everyday, but the adoption of the gorgeous Queenie (below) in December 2019 is easing our pain.
I thought long and hard about what to call my business and eventually settled on a simple 'walkies'. I chose it because it is my absolute favourite word to say to my dogs as it lights up their little faces and in turn they light up my world. Cheesy I know, but very true.
I am really looking forward to meeting you and your lovely doggies. you can trust me to give them not just walkies but giggles, cuddles and love.
On a professional note, I am fully insured and CRB checked. I will always keep your pooch hydrated and safe. Their paws will be clean and dry when they come back home. I will notify you when I pick them up and drop them off and post any photos and videos on my social media daily.
I will only walk or visit your doggie once I have met you and we have discussed in detail your and your doggie's needs. I will also ask you to fill out an information form. This initial visit should only take about twenty minutes.

Brilliant service. Valeria turned up on the dot to pick my dogs up, took their ball and thrower (which they love), gave them a good hours exercise and cleaned them up when she brought them back. they were pooped - perfect!
